About This Project

A busy young family was keen to improve the general amenity I their Edwardian house as well as connect to the outdoors. A fun design provides intimate cubby areas for the young ones, outdoor “camping areas for nights spent in the “backyard” Kombi , a music space and exercise area. Light filled living and dining areas adjoin the modern kitchen. The upstairs kids wing allows for some separation, but connection is maintained by a two storey void containing the kids “hang out” and crows nest. A special place in the tree tops to be alone or enjoy time with mates.
